P.MarkShayani1 Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Foxen Canyon Road in Santa Barbara
Santa Barbara, California (March 5, 2023) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on Sunday morning in Sisquoc Santa Ynez.
Santa Barbara County Fire Department says the accident happened at the 7600 block of Foxen Canyon Road at around 10 a.m.
An 18-year-old Santa Maria man was riding a Yamaha R6 motorcycle on the roadway and was struck by a Honda Accord.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and administered aid to the injured rider, who succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The driver of the Honda and a passenger in the vehicle were unhurt.
Additional information about the accident was not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
