Yvette Amezcua Dies After Winchester Car Accident on SR 79 near Scott Road

Winchester, California (May 16, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol has identified the woman killed in a head-on crash on Sunday evening as Yvette Amezcua, 34, of Perris.

The deadly collision occurred at about 5:10 p.m. on May 15 on State Road 79 near the convergence of Scott Road and Washington Street.

Police said two cars crashed head-on for reasons yet to be determined.

Amezcua sustained fatal, fatal injuries from the crash.

No one else was hurt in the accident.
