Male Rider Killed in Gilbert Motorcycle Accident near Williams Field Road and Val Vista Drive

Gilbert, Arizona (May 16, 2023) – The Gilbert Police Department reported a 23-year-old man was killed following a motorcycle collision on Monday afternoon in Gilbert.

The crash occurred near Williams Field Road and Val Vista Drive at about 1:30 p.m. on May 15.

Police said a motorcycle was hit by a car for unknown reasons. 

The rider sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed.

Police arrested the car driver for driving under the influence.

No additional information concerning this collision was provided.
