Woman Killed in Portland Accident on Barbur Blvd near Barbur Transit Center

Portland, Oregon (July 14, 2023) – The Portland Police Traffic Division Major Crash Team is investigating a two-vehicle collision that left a woman dead and another person hospitalized on Friday afternoon in Portland.

The deadly accident happened on Southwest Barbur Boulevard, just east of Barbur Transit Center, around 2:30 p.m. on July 14.

Police said two cars crashed for reasons yet to be determined.

Authorities confirmed one woman dead due to the collision.

One individual suffered injuries from the accident and was taken to a hospital by ground ambulance.

Police closed Southwest Barbur Boulevard between Southwest Capitol Highway and 30th Avenue.
