VinsnowVira Zheltonozhko Dies After Citrus Heights Accident on Antelope Road
Citrus Height, California (June 29, 2023) – The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has identified the pedestrian killed in a Tuesday night crash in Citrus Heights as 82-year-old Vira Zheltonozhko.
The fatal accident happened at about 8:19 p.m. on June 27 on Antelope Road, west of Auburn Boulevard.
Authorities said Zheltonozhko was struck by a car in the eastbound lanes.
Zheltonozhko suffered fatal injuries due to the accident.
The driver was not harmed and remained at the accident scene after the collision.
Police closed the eastbound lanes of Antelope Road for hours to give way to an on-scene investigation.
The incident remains under investigation.
