Stanley Summers ID’d as Rider Killed in Hemet Motorcycle Accident on Pleasant Street

Hemet, California (June 29, 2023) – The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Bureau has released the name of the rider killed in a motorcycle collision on Wednesday evening in Hemet.

Stanley Summers, 69,  died after a traffic accident at about 6:20 p.m. on June 28 at Pleasant Street and Mayberry Avenue. 

The Cal Fire/ Riverside County Fire Department fire officials responded to the accident.

Authorities said Summers of Hemet was riding his bike in the area when he was hit by a vehicle for unknown reasons.

He was declared dead at the accident location.

The involved driver was hospitalized with minor injuries due to the collision.

No further details concerning this collision were released.

An investigation by the California Highway Patrol- San Gorgonio Station is ongoing.
