VinsnowRicardo Martinez Dies in Phoenix Pedestrian Accident at 43rd and Glendale Avenues
Phoenix, Arizona (June 12, 2023) – 35-year-old Ricardo Martinez died Saturday night after being hit by a vehicle at an intersection in Phoenix.
Phoenix police say the accident was reported around 9:45 p.m. near 43rd and Glendale avenues.
Martinez was crossing the road mid-block when an eastbound vehicle driven by 47-year-old Matthew Rhoades struck him.
Martinez was rushed to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Rhoades stayed at the scene and was arrested for driving under the influence.
More details about the crash were not provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
