Jennifer Ahlstrom Airlifted After Tillamook County Crash on Highway 18 near Milepost 14

Tillamook County, Oregon (June 13, 2023) – According to the Oregon State Police, Jennifer Marie Ahlstrom, 48, of Portland, was flown to the hospital following a major car accident on Sunday afternoon in Tillamook County.
The multi-car accident occurred on Highway 18, near milepost 14, at about 2:41 p.m. June 11, on Highway 18, near milepost 14.
Authorities said William Nicolas Calderon, 20, was traveling westbound when for an unknown reason, his vehicle drifted off its lane and sideswiped a Gray Honda Pilot before sideswiping a gray Ford Ranger.
Calderon then slammed head-on into Ahlstrom’s vehicle, a gray Subaru Crosstrek.
Ahlstrom was flown to a local hospital to treat serious injuries sustained in the collision.
Two juveniles, Subaru passengers, were hospitalized due to the accident.
Calderon, a Lincoln City resident, was also transported to the hospital following the crash.
Joseph Daniel Davis, 59, of Dallas, the Honda’s driver, and the Ranger’s driver, Kory Lee Thomas, 51, of Salem, were not hurt in the accident.
Traffic delays were experienced in the area as officers investigated the accident.
Alongside the OSP, the North Lincoln Fire, the ODOT, the Grand Rhonde Fire, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, and the Pac West Ambulance responded to the crash site.
The incident remains under investigation.
