Micah Jacobs Killed in Tuscon Motorcycle Crash on East 5th Street

Tucson, Arizona (July 26, 2023) – 44-year-old Micah Cameron Jacobs has been identified as the rider killed in a motorcycle accident last week Wednesday in Tuscon, according to a police report.
The deadly collision occurred at about 6:15 a.m. on July 19 on East 5th Street and North Jefferson Avenue.
Police confirmed a BMW was heading east on Fifth Street and was trying to turn left onto northbound Jefferson when Jacob’s motorcycle crashed into its passenger’s side.
Jacobs was hospitalized and died days later while receiving treatment.
The BMW driver, a 49-year-old man, was cited for causing an injury/death crash and failing to yield while making a turn.
The incident remains under investigation.
