VinsnowLorine Wooldridge Dies in Polk County Car Accident on Highway 223
Polk County, Oregon (June 22, 2023) – 66-year-old Lorine M. Wooldridge was killed, and his passenger, Margaret McCloud, 77, was seriously injured in a car crash that happened in Polk County on Thursday morning.
The fatal crash was reported at around 11:45 a.m., June 15, on Highway 223, according to the Oregon Police Police.
Wooldridge was driving a yellow Volkswagen Beetle heading east on Highway 233 when, for unknown reasons, he made a U-turn.
Wooldridge was struck on the driver’s side by a white Ford F-150.
Wooldridge was pronounced dead at the scene while McCloud was rushed to hospital with severe injuries.
The driver of the F-150 was not hurt.
No other information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
