Coronado, California (July 12, 2023) – One person was killed in a motorcycle crash that happened on Wednesday morning in Coronado.
According to the authorities, the deadly collision happened at around 7 a.m. on Silver Strand at Coronado Cays Boulevard.
A motorcyclist was speeding on the northbound lane of Silver Strand when the police tried to stop him.
The rider failed to yield and sped up, crashing into a vehicle at Coronado Cays Boulevard.
Police say the rider was killed in the crash.
The identity of the deceased person was not disclosed.
All the northbound lanes were closed as the scene was cleared.
The accident remains under investigation.
