Dean Wiskow Killed in Cottage Grove Accident on London Road

Cottage Grove, Oregon (July 19, 2023) – The Lane County Sheriff’s Office authorities have identified Dean Allan Wiskow, 72, as the person killed in a head-on crash last Tuesday near Cottage Grove.

The deadly accident occurred at about 3:00 a.m. on July 11 on London Road near milepost 11.

Police said a white Ford pickup truck was heading southbound when it did not negotiate a curve, drove into the opposite lane, and crashed head-on into a northbound Dodge pickup truck operated by Wiskow.

Wiskow of Cottage Grove was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

The Ford driver suffered serious injuries due to the collision and was hospitalized.
