VinsnowMotorcyclist Dies in Tacoma Crash on 5 Freeway near 54th Street
Tacoma, Washington (July 19, 2023) – A motorcyclist was killed early Wednesday morning after colliding with a car in Tacoma.
The Washington State Patrol said the accident happened at about 3:15 a.m. on 5 Freeway near milepost 138 at 54th Street.
The motorcyclist was heading southbound when a BMW traveling northbound struck him.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
WSP said the BMW was traveling at a high speed when the crash occurred.
More details about the collision were not provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
