Brenden King Killed in Coronado Motorcycle Crash on Silver Strand

Coronado, California (July 18, 2023) – 22-year-old Brenden Andrew King has been identified as the rider killed in a traffic collision last Wednesday in Coronado, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The deadly crash occurred at Silver Strand and Coronado Cays Boulevard at about 7:00 a.m. on July 12.

Authorities said King was heading northbound on Silver Strand in a motorcycle when the Coronado PD officials pulled him over. He failed to stop and fled before slamming into a vehicle at the junction. 

King was killed in the accident.

The involved motorist was not injured in the crash.

No other information concerning this collision was provided.

The incident remains under investigation.
