Two People Killed in Fresno County Crash on Jefferson and Bethel Avenues
Fresno County, California (September 1, 2023) – A child was among two parties killed in a two-vehicle collision at a Fresno County intersection on Friday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
At around 8 a.m., authorities responded to a traffic collision in the area of Jefferson and Bethel avenues.
A Honda was heading east on Jefferson Avenue when the driver did not stop for a stop sign and was hit by an oncoming Chevy SUV.
The two vehicles drifted into a vineyard after colliding.
The two occupants of the Honda, identified as a man and a boy, were both killed in the crash.
At least five parties in the Chevy were hospitalized. The CHP is working to determine the cause of the incident.
