VinsnowChester Sharpe Dies in Sun City Crash on 103 Avenue near Cherry Hills Drive
Sun City, Arizona (July 30, 2023) – 82-year-old Chester Sharpe died in a head-on collision on Saturday morning in Sun City.
The collision happened around 10:30 a.m. on 103 Avenue near Cherry Hills Drive.
Sharpe was driving a golf cart southbound when for unknown reasons, he made an abrupt left turn and collided head-on with a SUV.
Sharpe sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after.
As per the preliminary investigation, Sharpe had a medical event that played a role in the crash.
The driver of the SUV was not injured.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to be a factor in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
