Woman Severely Injured in Sacramento Bicycle Accident near Bayou Way and Power Line Road

Sacramento, California (January 20, 2023) – A woman was critically injured following a bicycle accident on Thursday evening in Sacramento, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

The crash happened at around 6:20 p.m. on January 19, near Bayou Way and Power Line Road, next to the Sacramento International Airport.

Per the dispatch, a woman in her 40s was cycling near the intersection when a car hit her. 

Emergency crews and medics attended to the woman who sustained severe injuries due to the collision. The patient was taken to an area trauma center with critical injuries.
