P.MarkShayani3 Injured in Car Crash on 15 Freeway near Kenwood Avenue in Cajon Pass
San Bernardino, California (January 20, 2023) – Three people were injured in a car crash on Thursday afternoon in Cajon Pass.
At around 3:02 p.m., the California Highway Patrol and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to a traffic collision on southbound 15 Freeway near the Kenwood Avenue exit.
A white four-door sedan with major front-end damage and a large white box truck that overturned on its side, leaking fuel onto the traffic lanes, were recovered at the accident scene.
One person was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment.
Two other people suffered minor injuries and were not transported.
Additional information about the accident was not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
