Hannah Fetters and Grace Fetters Killed in Portland Accident at Powell Boulevard and 63rd Avenue

Portland, Oregon (July 24, 2023) – Three victims killed in a deadly collision on Thursday night have been identified by Portland Police, according to the Portland Police Bureau.

Julie D. Skeen and 18-year-old twins Grace I. Fetters and Hannah E. Fetters died after a multi-car collision that happened at Powell Boulevard and 63rd Avenue at about 9:34 p.m. on July 20.

Police said a 2015 BMW was racing a 2005 Subaru Impreza eastbound on Powell Boulevard when it slammed into a 2004 Lexus making a turn onto Powell Boulevard.

Hannah and Grace, BMW occupants, died at the crash site.

Skeen, the Lexus driver, was transported to the hospital by ambulance with critical injuries. She died later died at the hospital.

A fourth person suffered non-life threatening and was hospitalized.

An investigation is ongoing.
