3 Killed in Car Crash on Interstate 5 in Federal Way

3 People Die in Federal Way Accident on I-5 near S 336th Street

Federal Way, Washington (July 9, 2023) – Three people died in a car crash early Sunday morning in Federal Way.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened at around 3:50 a.m. on Interstate 5 near S 336th Street.

A car was traveling northbound at unknown speed when it went off the roadway and hit a parked box truck.

The driver of the car and two passengers were killed in the crash.

WSP said it’s unclear whether there was an occupant in the box truck and if anyone was injured.

More details about the accident were not provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
