Angela Fierro Killed in Antioch Car Accident on Lone Tree Way at Clayburn Rd

Contra Costa, California (July 8, 2023) – The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s coroner has identified 20-year-old Angela Fierro as the pregnant woman killed in a deadly collision on Thursday afternoon in Antioch.

The deadly collision happened on Lone Tree Way at Clayburn Road at about 4:49 p.m. on July 6.

Police said a white car was traveling at a high rate of speed on Lone Tree Way when it slammed into a black Grand Cherokee. The Cherokee rolled over several times before throwing Fierro, an Antioch resident, from the passenger seat.

Fierro suffered fatal injuries following the collision.

The Cherokee driver and a passenger were taken to the hospital for a check-up.

The white car driver was taken to the hospital for treatment.

An investigation by the Antioch Police Department is ongoing.
