3 Injured in Head-On Collision on Avenue 7 at Road 25 in Madera

Madera County, California (March 20, 2023) – Three people were injured in a head-on collision that happened in Madera County on Sunday morning.

The crash happened at around 11:30 a.m. on Avenue 7 at Road 25, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A silver Nissan traveling westbound is reported to have collided head-on with an eastbound Toyota Camry.

Officials say one person was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by the paramedics.

Two people in the Nissan and the sole occupant of the Camry suffered major injuries in the accident and were transported to the hospital for treatment.

Drugs and alcohol were ruled out as factors in the crash.
