Sutter County, California (March 20, 2023) – 30-year-old Steven Tadeo, of Westwood, has been identified as the man who died in a collision on Sunday afternoon in Yuba City.
The fatal crash happened on Highway 99 at Oswald Road at around 12:05 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A semi-truck was reportedly accelerating to make a left turn from Oswald Road onto Highway 99 when Tadeo’s Toyota Tacoma hit the landing gear on the left side of the truck.
The Tacoma was wedged underneath the trailer.
Tadeo was killed in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
