Two People Die in Lancaster Car Accident at Avenue E and 60th Street East

Lancaster, California (August 13, 2023) – Two people died Sunday afternoon following a head-on collision that occurred at an intersection in Lancaster.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department said the accident was reported at around 12:45 p.m. at Avenue E and 60th Street East.

A Chevrolet Silverado and a Dodge Charger collided head-on, but the events that led to the collision were not immediately determined.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.

Three passengers were injured, two of them with life-threatening injuries.

All patients were rushed to Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment.

No other information about the accident was provided.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
