One Killed in Joshua Tree Car Accident on State Route 62 at Rotary Way

Joshua Tree, California (July 13, 2023) – At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle collision that happened on Thursday morning in Joshua Tree.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision involving a semi-truck and another vehicle was reported at around 9 a.m. on State Route 62 at Rotary Way.

CHP said the semi-truck and another vehicle collided in unclear circumstances.

At least one person was killed in the accident.

The accident resulted in the closure of SR-62 for about two hours.

The eastbound lanes were reopened at about 11 a.m.

More details about the crash were not.

CHP are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
