P.MarkShayani1 Killed, 1 Seriously Injured in Collision on Tehachapi Boulevard in Tehachapi
Tehachapi, California (October 4, 2022) – One person was killed and another was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision on Monday afternoon in Tehachapi.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 4:29 p.m. on Tehachapi Boulevard near the Martin Marietta Tehachapi Cement Plant.
A Ford EcoSport SUV and a Toyota Prius were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.
Emergency personnel responded to the incident and pronounced one person dead at the accident scene.
The name of the deceased person was not immediately established.
Another person was seriously injured in the crash and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
