Bakersfield, California (October 25, 2022) – A child was killed in a bicycle accident on Monday evening in Tehachapi.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Tucker Road near Conway Avenue at around 4 p.m.
The juvenile was riding a bicycle when he was struck by a pickup truck that was exiting a parking lot.
The bicyclist suffered major injuries and was transported to Tehachapi Hospital where he later died while receiving treatment.
