Motorcyclist Killed in Oxnard Car Accident on Oxnard Boulevard

Oxnard, California (November 15, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that claimed a rider’s life on Monday morning in Oxnard.

According to the CHP officials, the accident was reported on Oxnard Boulevard near Colonia Road at about 5:48 a.m. on November 14.

Authorities confirmed a 2014 Harley Davidson was traveling northbound on Oxnard Boulevard when it slammed into a 2000 Ford Ranger pickup truck. The truck reportedly drove into Oxnard Boulevard from Palm Drive when the accident happened.

Responding emergency crews declared the motorcyclist dead at the crash site. The victim’s name was not immediately released awaiting notification of the next of kin.

The pickup driver did not flee the crash site and cooperated with the police.

Following the collision, police blocked both northbound lanes for at least five hours. The roadway was re-opened at 11:30 a.m.

An investigation is ongoing.
