1 Killed, 8 Hurt in Moses Lake Accident on 90 Freeway

Moses Lake, Washington (August 10, 2023) – According to the Washington State Police, one person died, and several others were hurt following a multi-car accident on Wednesday afternoon in Moses Lake in Washington.
The accident happened on August 7 on the 90 Freeway.
Police said an eastbound vehicle tried to pass a vehicle on the left, but its motorist hit gravel, causing the car to roll several times before ejecting the driver.
The second vehicle then drove to the center divider and crossed into the westbound lanes hitting a third car.
The driver, thrown off their car, was rushed to the hospital, where he died. Eight other persons were hurt in the accident.
Authorities closed I-90 leaving only the eastbound lane open. The roadway was later reopened.
An investigation is ongoing.
