Princess King Identified as Woman Killed in Echo Park Accident on 101 Freeway

Echo Park, California (August 10, 2023) – 24-year-old Princess Sauve King has been identified as the pedestrian killed in a traffic collision early Tuesday morning in Echo Park.

According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office, the accident happened at about 3:58 a.m. on August 8 on the southbound Hollywood (101) Freeway and Alvarado Street.

Authorities confirmed King was hit by a vehicle for unknown reasons.

King died in the collision.

The southbound freeway was closed for several hours for an on-scene investigation.
