Vinsnow1 Killed, Another Injured in Rainier Car Crash on Highway 30 near Neer City Road
Rainier, Oregon (June 20, 2023) – One person died and another was injured following a car crash on Tuesday morning in Rainier, Columbia County.
According to the authorities, the accident occurred on Highway 30 near Neer City Road at about 5:20 a.m.
Two vehicles were involved, but the events leading up to the collision were not immediately established.
Columbia River Fire and Rescue responded to the crash and pronounced one person dead.
Another person was injured and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The accident caused the closure of Highway 30 as the scene was cleared. All lanes were reopened by 10 a.m.
The Oregon State Police responded to the crash and are working to determine the cause of the collision.
