P.MarkShayaniBrentwood Man Killed in Livermore Accident on North Vasco Road near Dolton Avenue
Livermore, California (October 6, 2022) – A 28-year-old Brentwood man was killed and another person was seriously injured in a head-on collision early Thursday morning in Livermore.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened at around 3:40 a.m. on North Vasco Road just north of Dalton Avenue.
The Brentwood man was driving a white Honda Civic southbound on North Vasco Road when, for unknown reasons, he veered into the opposite lane and collided head-on with an oncoming Honda Accord.
CHP said the Brentwood man was killed in the collision.
The 28-year-old Livermore man driving the Accord was rushed to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley with severe injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
Alcohol and drugs did not appear to be a factor in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
