Alhambra, California (April 12, 2023) – A woman died after being struck by a car on Tuesday afternoon in Alhambra.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 2:13 p.m. on April 11, in the area of San Marino and Garfield avenues.
A vehicle was reportedly turning left onto southbound Garfield from westbound San Marino when it struck a pedestrian.
The woman was transported to an area hospital where she died.
The name of the woman was not immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
