Motorcyclist Airlifted after Phelan Crash at Eaby Road and Nielson Road

Rider Seriously Injured in Motorcycle Accident at Eaby Road and Nielson Road in Phelan

Phelan, California (April 13, 2023) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a traffic collision that happened in Phelan on Wednesday evening.

At around 5:06 p.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a traffic collision on Eaby Road, between Nielson and Trinity Roads.

A Dodge Ram pulling a Loadrunner trailer was traveling southbound on Eaby Road when it collided with a dirt bike traveling westbound on Nielson Road.

CHP says the rider was seriously injured in the crash and was airlifted to a trauma center for treatment.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
