P.MarkShayaniTeen Killed, 9 People Injured in Porter Ranch Crash on Reseda Boulevard
Porter Ranch, California (October 23, 2022) – A 17-year-old boy was killed and nine people were hurt in a multi-vehicle collision that happened in Porter Ranch on Saturday evening.
The accident was reported at around 5:30 p.m. at 11001 N. Reseda Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
At least three vehicles were involved. However, the events leading up to the collision were not immediately determined.
The 17-year-old boy was pinned inside one of the vehicles and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Nine people were injured in the crash.
LAFD said six parties had severe injuries, and the other three had minor to moderate injuries.
All victims were taken to regional trauma centers for treatment.
Drivers were advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
More details about the crash were not provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
