Samantha Renteria Killed in Perris Car Accident at Highway 74 and 7th Street

Riverside County, California (August 22, 2023) – Authorities have identified Samantha Hernandez Renteria, 23, as the woman killed in a two-vehicle accident on Sunday night in Perris, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The fatal collision occurred on State Route 74 near 7th Street at about 11:30 p.m. on August 20.

Police said a 20-year-old man from Lake Elsinore was heading eastbound on SR-74 in a 2008 Honda CRV when he drove into the opposite lanes and crashed head-on into Samantha’s Nissan Sentra traveling westbound.

Samantha of Costa Mesa was killed in the collision.

The Honda driver also suffered fatal injuries due to the crash.
