Rolando Rubio Identified as Man Killed in Phoenix Car Accident at 33rd Ave and Bethany Home Rd

Phoenix, Arizona (August 20, 2023) – The Phoenix police have identified Rolando Osuna Rubio, 35, as the man killed in a car accident on Friday night in Phoenix.

The deadly collision happened at about 9:00 p.m. on August 18 at 33rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road.

Authorities said two cars crashed for reasons still under investigation. One vehicle burst into flames pinning Rubio inside after the collision.

Rubio was declared dead at the accident location.

The female motorist of the second vehicle sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital.
