VinsnowMotorcyclist Hurt in Spokane Valley Accident at Dearborn Road and 6th Avenue
Spokane Valley, Washington, (June 15, 2023) – According to the Spokane Valley Police Department, a rider was severely hurt following a motorcycle accident on Tuesday night in Spokane Valley.
The collision occurred at South Dearborn Road and East Sixth Avenue at about 9:00 p.m. on June 13.
Police said a Dodge truck was heading south on S. Dearborn Road and had halted at 6th Avenue before entering the junction, where he crashed into a westbound Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies and Traffic Unit Investigators rushed to the scene to attend to the rider, who sustained critical injuries in the collision. The adult male rider was taken to a local hospital, where he was listed in a critical but stable state.
The adult male truck driver was not hurt in the collision and stayed at the scene after the crash.
The driver was cooperative and underwent field sobriety tests and a Drug Recognition Expert test. Police believed he was not impaired at the time.
An investigation is ongoing.
