Antonio Macias Killed in Irwindale Motorcycle Accident on Morada Street

Irwindale, California (August 20, 2023) – The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office has identified 25-year-old Antonio Macias of Duarte as the motorcyclist killed in a traffic accident on Friday night in Irwindale, Los Angeles.

The deadly crash occurred before 7:10 p.m. on August 18 on Morada Street and Arrow Highway.

Irwindale police said Macias was heading westbound on Arrow Highway in a motorcycle when he crashed into a 2014 Honda Civic. The Civic was reportedly turning left from Morada onto Arrow Highway.

The Los Angeles Fire Department medics were called to the scene. They declared Macias dead at the crash site.

The Honda driver remained at the accident location and was cooperative.

No other details concerning this crash were released.

An investigation is ongoing.
