Raymond Folsom ID’d as Person Killed in Malheur County Crash on Highway 95

Malheur County, Oregon, (July 3, 2023) – The Oregon State Police have identified Raymond Leroy Folsom, 74, as the person killed in a deadly collision on Friday morning in Malheur County.
The crash occurred at about 5:36 a.m. on June 30, on Highway 95, near milepost 65.
Police said Leroy of Buckeye (AZ) was heading northbound in a gray Toyota Prius when he swerved into the southbound lanes and was broadsided by a red 2017 Volvo big rig.
Leroy suffered fatal injuries due to the collision.
The Toyota passengers, 51-year-old John Todd Folsom of Buckeye and 76-year-old Virginia Louise Folsom, suffered injuries and were flown to Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Boise.
The semi-truck driver, Gregory Edward Hunt, 36, of Caldwell (ID), was flown to a local hospital for treatment.
Traffic was affected for approximately six hours following the accident.
An investigation is ongoing.
