Driver Killed in Los Angeles Car Crash at Winnetka Avenue and Vanowen Street

Los Angeles, California (February 9, 2023) – A driver was killed in a car crash on Thursday morning in Los Angeles.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident happened at intersection of Winnetka Avenue and Vanowen Street at around 6:07 a.m.

Two cars were involved in the accident. One of the cars ended up in the front yard of a nearby.

A driver was trapped in a badly damaged car and had to be extricated by the firefighters. Sadly, the unidentified driver succumbed to injuries at the scene and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

The driver of the second sedan was hospitalized with minor injuries.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
