Martin Garcia Killed in Car Crash on 10 Freeway near Haugen-Lehmann Way in Whitewater

Whitewater, California (March 18, 2023) – 34-year-old Martin Garcia has been identified as the man who was killed in a car crash in Whitewater on Thursday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on the eastbound Interstate 10 Freeway near Haugen-Lehmann Way.

Garcia was driving a sedan and collided with a van in unclear circumstances.

Riverside County Fire Department crews arrived at the scene and found Garcia trapped inside the car.

He was extricated from the vehicle but sadly succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The van driver was treated at the scene and released.
