Fresno, California ( November 23, 2022) – Manjit Kaur Grewal, 57, of Clovis, has been identified as the woman who died in a two-vehicle crash on Monday evening in Fresno.

The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened at around 5 p.m. at the intersection of Temperance and North avenues.

A Toyota Corolla was traveling southbound on Temperance Avenue when the driver, a 25-year-old woman, failed to stop at a stop sign at North Avenue and collided with a Ford F-250.

Manjit was a passenger in the Toyota and was severely injured. She was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center, where she later died.

The driver of a Ford truck, a 45-year-old man from Fresno, suffered major injuries in the crash.

Alcohol and drugs did not appear to have played a role in the crash.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
