Kody Hornburg Killed in San Diego Motorcycle Crash near Quivira Avenue and West Mission Bay Drive

San Diego, California (June 5, 2023) – Kody Grant Hornburg, 34, has been identified as the second individual killed in a motorcycle collision last month in Mission Bay, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The deadly collision occurred on May 18, near Quivira Avenue and West Mission Bay Drive.

The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department responded to the crash.

Authorities said a Toyota Prius was turning right from West Mission Bay Drive onto Quivira Road when it hit a motorcycle operated by Hornburg.

Hornburg died due to the collison.

Donna Miroslava Munoz, 39, a Prius passenger, also sustained fatal injuries following the collision.

Four other persons, including an infant, were hospitalized due to the accident.
