Jesus Banda Among Nine People Injured in Moses Lake Crash on Northlake Road

Moses Lake, Washington (July 31, 2023) – 34-year-old Jesus Banda and eight other people were injured in a two-vehicle collision on Sunday afternoon in Moses Lake.

The accident happened on Northlake Road near SR-17 at about 1 p.m.

Banda was driving a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan eastbound when he failed to stop at the intersection and collided with a 2007 Chevy Tahoe.

According to the Washington State Patrol, Banda was not wearing a seat belt and was injured.

Two passengers in the Dodge and six people in the Chevy, an adult driver and five teenagers, were also injured in the accident.

All victims were transported to the hospital for treatment.

Police did not suspect alcohol and drugs as factors in the crash.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
