Jeremy Card, Sebastian Jones, and Debbie Guaspari-Larosa Hurt in Susanville Crash on Highway 44 near the Bogard Visitor Center

Susanville, California (December 30, 2022) – Police have identified the three persons injured in a deadly crash that claimed a woman’s life on Tuesday afternoon in Susanville, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash happened at about 5:19 p.m. on December 27 on Highway 44 just east of the Bogard Visitor Center.
Per the CHP officials, Debbie Guaspari-Larosa, 66, of Napa, was driving a 2009 Ford F-150 east on Highway 44 while a 51-year-old woman from Provo, Utah, was heading west in a 2006 Buick. The two vehicles ultimately collided for unknown reasons.
The Buick driver died at the crash site. One of her two passengers, identified as Jeremy Card, 47, of Provo, Utah, sustained severe injuries while the other, Sebastian Jones, of Provo, Utah, suffered moderate injuries following the accident.
The two patients were transported to Banner Lassen Medical Center in Susanville for treatment.
Guaspari-Larosa was also taken to Banner Lassen Medical Center to treat moderate injuries.
