San Jose, California (April 29, 2023) – Jane Rose Stroud, 71, has been identified as the woman who was killed in a pedestrian accident in San Jose on April 9.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 11:50 a.m. in the area of 11th and Santa Clara streets.
Stroud was in a crosswalk and was trying to cross East Santa Clara Street when she was hit by a 2017 Toyota Camry.
Stroud was taken to the hospital where she died on Monday, April 24.
More details about the accident were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
