Rancho Cucamonga, California (October 9, 2022) – 60-year-old James Zoltan Williamson has been identified as the man who was killed in a bicycle accident that happened in Rancho Cucamonga last week Tuesday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 5:44 p.m. at Rochester Ave and Victoria Park Lane.
The man was riding a bicycle west on Victoria Park and was making a turn onto Rochester when he was struck by a vehicle traveling north on Rochester.
Williamson was transported to an area hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
The driver, a 30-year old man from Rancho Cucamonga, remained at the scene.
More details about the accident were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
