Sheriff’s Deputy Injured in Car Accident at Grand Avenue and Sangston Drive

Riverside County, California (January 9, 2023) – A Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputy was injured in a collision that happened at an intersection in Lake Elsinore on Sunday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 11 a.m. in the area of Grand Avenue and Sangston Drive.

A deputy’s vehicle is reported to have collided with a pickup truck on the roadway in unclear circumstances.

CHP says the deputy was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital.
