David Padilla Jr. Identified as Pedestrian Killed in San Fernando Accident on Trauma Street

San Fernando, California (August 11, 2023) – 46-year-old David Padilla Jr. of San Fernando was killed following a Metrolink train on Wednesday evening on August 9 in San Fernando.

According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office, the accident happened at about 6:15 p.m. on August 9, in the 1100 block of Trauma Street near North Maclay Avenue.

Police said a Metrolink train struck Padilla Jr. for unknown reasons.

Padilla Jr. was declared dead at the accident scene.

No one else was hurt in the accident.

An investigation by the San Fernando Police Department is ongoing.
